Biography
Richard E. Davis graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in 1972 with a Batchelor of Science in Economics, then again in 1980 with a Batchelor of Science in Accounting. He then attended the University of Tulsa College of Law and graduated with honors earning his J.D. in 1985.
Mr. Davis was employed as an insurance claims representative from 1973 to 1983. He began working for the law firm of Woolsey, Fisher, Whiteaker & McDonald from 1983 through 1995 where he was a Partner. In 1995, Mr. Davis and three other attorneys from Woolsey Fisher established the law firm of Whiteaker & Wilson where he was a Shareholder. He remains at this firm, which is also known as the Law Offices of Stuart P. Huffman.
His practice is primarily civil litigation with defense being the majority of his practice.
Mr. Davis is admitted to the Bar in all Missouri state courts, and the U.S. District Court for Western District of Missouri. He is also a member of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court.
